100-bed hospital inaugurated in Kot Addu
KOT ADDU: Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif today inaugurated a 100-bed field hospital built by the ARY Network under its Ehsas Zindagi Ka flood relief campaign.
Shahbaz said that the government of Punjab will back the efforts being made by the ARY network.
Vice Chairman ARY Digital Network Haji Abdul Rauf was also present during inauguration of the hospital.
The hospital will provide free medical facilities to patients. The teams of specialist doctors have been called from various hospitals for the field hospital. The expenses of the hospital have been estimated at Rs one million daily. The flood hit people of Tauna and other areas will also benefit from the hospital.
The hospital has been provided modern equipment including the facilities of surgery.
The hospital will continue to work till complete rehabilitation of the flood affected people.
Talking to ARY News Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif said that the government of Punjab will back the efforts being made by the ARY network. He said his government will supply free of cost electricity to the hospital.
